Gabriel, is someone who is very near and dear to our hearts as he is not only a talented blogger but he’s also been a brute force behind Cargoh and Gather- helping in every way possible! His Artful Walks have become a hot commodity in Vancouver and this one is sure to be beautiful, unique, gritty and interesting as it takes place in Gather’s backyard – Gastown. Oh and we’re totally stealing “creative vitamins” – that’s such a great phrase! Thanks Gab, we can’t wait for more Ah-Ha moments with you!
Be sure to visit TheArtfulDesperado.com (noted as one of the up and coming blogs to watch at this year’s Alt Summit).
Drum roll please!!!!! We would like to announce that in addition to all the other wonderful things happening around Gather Pop Up Shop (which starts next Friday) we will be showcasing a curated Art Show by Gabriel Cabrera. We are honored to have this local art and design blogger aka @ArtfulDesperado (noted as an up & coming blogger to watch out for at Alt Summit this year) put together some of Vancouver’s best artists, all in one place July 27th – 29th at 1 East Cordova/Carrall in Gastown.
The featured artists include, Jessica Bell, Sarah Gee, Danielle Krysa (The Jealous Curator), Jose Rivas and selected prints from Mammoth & Co. Whew, that is a lot of talent and awesomeness in one sentence. All pieces of work will be available for sale during the event. So come on down next weekend, enjoy the 25 designers marketplace, workshops, gourmet popsicles, music and one of a kind pieces from these amazing artists!
We can’t wait to see you there!
We have the pleasure to share with you today a sneak peak of what Love Jules Leather and Sitka next collaboration project is. Step inside their studio where the magic is made by Jules and Josh, who are the sweetest and most talented couple ever! A little Friday inspiration to remind you that the sky is the limit!
You will be able to see their product in person next weekend July 27th – 29th at Gather Pop Up Shop in Gastown. Make sure to stop by and say hi if you are in the neighborhood!
What can we say, except we’re ridiculously beside ourselves to have noted blogger, The Jealous Curator, as part of the GATHER community! She could be leading a class on watching paint dry and we’d still be jealous of how amazing it is!
